Gotek Floppy Emulator - Modern Floppy Drive Replacement

Gotek is the Chinese company that makes these units, and SamplerZone highly modifies them and sets them up for the sampler you desire to use it with.

What is a Floppy Emulator? It's a similarly-sized non-mechnical unit that hooks up to your sampler just like the floppy drive would, and to the sampler it LOOKS like a floppy drive, but instead it uses floppy drive-sized file images on a USB drive plugged into the unit to represent each floppy disk.

To change floppy disks, simply change the selected image using the front panel controls, and the next time your sampler accesses the floppy emulator, it'll read off the new image, thinking it's a newly-inserted floppy disk.

SamplerZone Modifications
SamplerZone takes the stock raw Gotek- which only includes a 3-digit display and increment-dcrement buttons - and puts the super-popular Flash Floppy firmware on it, adds an optional OLED alphanumeric screen and/or Rotary Encoder, and includes a tiny USB Drive that has the proper configuration file for your requested sampler AND a set of images to start you off with. Not only that, certain samplers/hosts have a higher bezel (not just the standard 25mm type), and we provide a custom lip attachment to cover that area, for cosmetic purposes.

Compatibility
SamplerZone's Gotek Floppy Emulators work with EVERY SINGLE SAMPLER we know of. We don't provide a list because we haven't found a sampler it DOESN'T work on. (Although, in most cases, if your sampler has SCSI, there's no real reason to have a Gotek.)

All Gotek Floppy Emulators come with a standard 1-year warranty, set up for your requested sampler, a USB drive, an optional OLED screen and/or Rotary Encoder (both recommended), and a lipa ttachment if necessary.
