Our sales partner SamplerZone makes a variety of SCSI SD Card solutions for your SCSI sampler. These are the RaSCSI Drives - a SCSI daughterboard that fits onto an included standard Raspberry Pi microcomputer.
RaSCSI comes in either a External Plug-In model, or a Internal trays designed to fit your sampler/host. And, like all SamplerZone SD SCSI solutions, RaSCSI has the ability to access multiple SCSI ID's; so it's really many drives in one unit.
What makes RaSCSI unique is that it really is a full fledged computer with a SCSI interface (the RaSCSI daughterboard), and for the SCSI data sources it uses disk images. Since it is a real computer, it can use a WiFi connection to communciate, so you can transfer data on and off the Pi via your computer and network's WiFi. You can also assign and detach images to SCSI ID's using the RaSCSI 'rasctl' service.
Compatibility
SamplerZone's RaSCSI Drives work with EVERY SINGLE SAMPLER we know of (which is all of them).
All Ensoniq, Akai, Akai MPC, Roland, Emu, Ensoniq, Kurzweil, Korg, Peavey, Synclavier, Fairlight, Waveframe samplers.
We don't provide a list because we haven't found a sampler it DOESN'T work on.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the extreme unavailability of Raspberry Pi Zero's (worldwide chip shortage), SamplerZone is selling the full RaSCSI package without the Raspberry Pi Zero, so it will be up to you to obtain the Raspberry Pi Zero or use one you already have. Hopefully this situation will change shortly.
All RaSCSI Drives come with a standard 1-year warranty, your choice of how the drive is set-up, case color, how the included SD card is formatted, and your choice of SCSI connecting cable.
