Roland S-7x
to Akai S5000-Z Series Translation
Translator improves on the stock S-5000 translation by adding bulk translations and more accurately translating certain parameters.
Translator compensates for the Roland Emphasis Curve that Roland samplers naturally write into their wavedata, see the Roland Deemphasis section for more information.
Akai S-5000's do not do any frequency compensation.
Translator also supports translating to stereo AKai S-5000 .wav files when appropriate (see the miscellaneous topic Stereo Wave Support).
This source format has the capability for alternative looping modes (see Special Features for more information); Translator compensates for these modes, depending on the capability of the destination format.
Akai S-5000 series samplers require 15 samples (30 total when stereo) after the loop end marker when a sample is looped. Translator takes this into consideration and adds these samples when appropriate.
